In 2009, Rhys made the National final of Raw Comedy. By 2012, he had won a 'Time Out' best newcomer award, featured on the Comedy Channel's 'Balls of Steel', starred in a popular web series 'Calming Rhys Nicholson' and Toured Australia with Fiona O'Loughlin. And if that's not enough, he also stars in a feature film 'Housos vs Authority'.

In 2011, she was a National finalists in RAW comedy and performed at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival to a room of 1500 people.
In 2012, Laura was hand-picked as one of Australia’s best emerging comics as a part of ‘The Comedy Zone’ showcase for the MCIF.
In 2013, Laura brought her debut solo show ‘Welcome to Planet Earth’ to the Melbourne and Sydney Comedy festivals and received great reviews and sold out shows at both.
In 2014, After winning the US Green Card lottery, Laura now splits her time between LA and Sydney.
